The Father Wasson Legacy Endowment is a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization governed by its own board of directors. It was founded in 1995 to help provide long-term financial stability for the programs of Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos. Since its founding, the endowment has delivered roughly $8 million in support of the NPH mission.
An endowment gift to the Father Wasson Legacy Endowment today provides a brighter picture for our future. When you make a donation to an endowment, you give a gift with both immediate and long-term benefits. The Father Wasson Legacy Endowment provides an ideal instrument for donors who wish to provide NPH with sustainable funding that will grow over time and ensure that future generations of young people are given the opportunities that NPH provides.
Endowment donations are invested. A portion of the annual income from the investment is used to address immediate needs at NPH. The remaining funds are reinvested to ensure indefinite support.

An Example of How It Works
Susan, a longtime NPH USA donor, wants to make sure that NPH continues to benefit from her support after her lifetime.
In her will, Susan has stipulated that the Father Wasson Legacy Endowment will receive a bequest of the "rest, residue and remainder" of her estate after all her estate's obligations and other bequests have been satisfied.
Susan is pleased to know that her bequest funds will be invested and, each year, a portion of the income from the investments will be used to support the NPH mission in perpetuity. In effect, she will be endowing her annual support.
